Are 6 month old uncooked lentils with tiny holes in the bag still good to eat?

I bought them back in mid December but never go around to cooking them. Air leaks out of the bag too. Does that mean they may have spoiled? The bag says they're good until November but I don't know if the holes make a difference for that
