I also add various spices like cardamom, coriander, black pepper, cumin, salt, etc. I tend to use recipes, but when I'm making food from my head I season as I go. I prefer my dal very thick, not soupy like some people. For rice, I use ratios I find online. My boyfriend likes to saute uncooked rice in some oil and onions, then add water and cook until the water is gone. It tastes very good, and honestly, I love adding ketchup to rice.

Don't eat a lot of fat at night, I don't know your schedule but that's probably the problem, make sure you eat some protein right after you exercise, don't eat a lot of carbs or fat after exercising, that's bad and all that, try doing your exercises in the morning if you can. Do some deltoid and tricep exercises, also do calv everises like jumping. Cardio too and blah blah blah, make sure you don't starve yourself during or after workouts or your body will go to your fat if you have any or your muscles and eat it up for energy.

The only things I can think of are cereals, granola bars, and some juices that are individually canned. for snacks that i can easily bring to school i tend to eat the primal strips. soo yummy and very high protein. i also really like the light life brand of deli slices and fake bacon. they're very yummy and they're designed to be lower in calories and fat but full of protein. they have them at most grocery stores. i love making fake turkey sandwiches to bring to school and work. could you also try putting the beans into something that disguises the fact that they are beans? i like to make veggie burgers out of beans and i make daal a lot too. how about seitan? you can find some really easy recipes online and it tends to be pretty low in calories and fat because it's made out of wheat. and it's really yummy. we make burgers out of seitan and also little buffalo fake chicken seitan cutlets. you can make seitan taste like anything you want, so have fun with it. if you want to use tofu, you could try soy boy. if she thinks tofu is gross she might like this more. it doesn't taste like tofu at all and it has much less water content. they are so good cut up and fried in a little oil to make crispy. i put them on salad as a fake chicken caesar salad sort of thing. you can also add silken tofu to a lot of recipes for protein and you can't taste it at all! i hope these ideas help!

You seem to have the balanced diet part down, all you need is to engage in an activity you like/enjoy. You will burn a lot of calories playing racquetball (specially if the courts aren't cooled down in summer). Martial arts (especially Taek Won do) is also a lot of fun and its a good workout when you push yourself. I would add more fruit and vegetables, apples, pears and citrus fruits are usually the cheapest. Cabbage and root vegetables including potatoes are the least expensive, try the markets to save money. You could add bread, pasta and cereal for fibre and carbs. A vegetarian/vegan diet is usually less expensive and much healthier.

Must love Peas and Lentils?

I'm brand new to cooking. I purchased a one pound bag each of my favorite foods - split peas and lentils. I cooked them together in a pot of just enough water, which they did soak up. Now I have the cooked version of my beloved peas and lentils, with just salt added. There's lots of them :-) I need simple ideas - open to vegan and meat added recipes. I'm very allergic to garlic and spices, and I do have dairy allergy so I can use some cheese but I can't turn it into one of my old beloved Indian curry dishes, let's say. If you want an emotional basis to your story, you should probably go with the 1st person, then you can exaggerate all the emotions that come with Romance and everything. When they mean 1800-2150 calories to lose weight, they mean if you don't exercise on top of that. If you do exercise you need to make sure your net calories is 1800 or so. So you can eat 2000 calories and burn 200 through exercise making your net 1800 or you can eat more, or just eat 1800 and don't exercise, though you should move from time to time. Some healthy calorie foods can be maybe some nuts, peanut butter with apples, yogurt, cheese, oatmeal, whole milk. Your diet is great by the way.

I have celiac but I am not advised to cut oats out of my diet, strangely, and I never have constipation. It may just be me, but I think it would be a smart decision to get a blood test or a biopsy to check. So many people don't realize they have this intolerance. If taking oats out of your diet helped that much, I think switching to a gluten- free diet would be a really smart decision. But again, I say you should get it checked out. My health improved dramatically as soon as I switched.

I go to UH at Manoa and I really like it. Although I live on the windward side, away from a lot of the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. I'm from the east coast so it was a change. Over by Manoa is more like city life though, so if you can afford a car to drive back and fourth to school I recommend living on the outskirts. It will save you in rent as well, it's absurd close to the campus!

the cards idle temp should be around 25oc (degrees Celsius) in general it is a fantastic card... its comfortable operating temp is around 55oc no more than 60oc. people have clocked the card to 875mhz at a push with two fans installed on the graphics card. I wouldn't recommend this as it will stress your card. 840 to 850Mhz is a comfortable overclock for your card remembering not to exceed 60-65oc :)

i found 2 baby house sparrows 2 months ago,i raised them with dog food and they were very healthy.But last week one of them suddenly died and the other is sick.He sleeps at the bottom of the cage,hia feathers look damp and are broken in places,and his tail seems chopped off.He sleeps a lot during the day and cant fly very high &doesnt talk anymore.I have been keeping them in a very big cage.I looked at his tail&i saw his uropygial gland,but cant determine if its ok.Its not red and its about the size of a pea.I ve called animal rescue,but in my country there are not many organisations like that.They said they didnt want him.Im so worried i could ve caused it by not feeding them right.Ever since they started eating on their own,i have been giving them seeds&veggies&some chicken,but they didnt eat the chicken or dog food i gave them.I give him vitamins and his diet now is a lot of things mashed in the blender(i found out he eats everything this way,instead of picking).This is what i put: 1 teaspoon of each:apple,apricot,lettuce,peas,chickpea… beans,rice,carrot,banana,tomato,corn,pot… boiled but the fruits),a few teaspoons of ground puppy pellets and 1 cup of grilled chicken & a few vitamin drops.I put it in the blender and he eats it like crazy.His droppings are normal.Am i doing the right thing?I dont want him to die too :'(
